Gateway to the Arts Home 2007-2008 Auditorium Programs

About our auditorium programs     (see the list)

Gateway to the Arts is well-known for our roster of high quality performing arts auditorium programs. The typical program lasts 45 minutes and has a maximum audience size of 325 students. Programs offer students an educational experience of the art form and include opportunities to participate and a question and answer period with the artists.

To maximize the effect of the programs, a teacher guide is sent approximately one month before the program. These guides include guidelines for proper audience behavior, tie-ins to Pennsylvania Department of Education Academic Standards, program objectives, pre- and post-performance activities to supplement the program, suggestions for arts integration into the curriculum, and resources for further study.
