Students create life-size cartoon boxes with voice bubbles from recycled materials to generate insight and reflection on familiar bullying encounters. Working with classroom teachers to develop dialogue scenarios, students write scripts illustrating ways of coping with various bullying situations. Scaled to the average height of the students in the school (potential math unit), hallways provide a backdrop for walk-in cartoons in which students assume various roles in the cartoon scripts. Photos of students inside this interactive installation provide opportunities for written reflections on the motivations for each role. Reflections will be posted as part of the installation. Adaptable to a variety of situations.
