From discovering spatial awareness or exploring aesthetics to gaining problem-solving skills or cooperative ones, Gateway to the Arts
Teach Me! programs provide imaginative, engaging, sequential learning experiences for young children and their teachers. Students express themselves creatively and master basic academic and life skills in fun, developmentally appropriate ways though a series of four arts workshops led by Gateway's professional teaching artists. Choose from visual arts, dance, music, dramatic play or puppetry.
These mini-residencies provide professional development opportunities for teachers and can be customized to accomodate your center and the needs of your staff. Limited to 20 students, matching funds for the workshops may be available through our funding partners.
The importance of early childhood education is more than just a hot topic, it is development that comes alive though the arts and is measurable in both the enthusiasm and the progress of our littlest learners.
