Artist: Rikki Loop
This residency is an early childhood exploration of aesthetics and the visual arts. Using animal-based themes and favorite children's books, students will view, discuss, and make their own art. An animal-based theme will be used, inspired by Eric Carle's book From Head to Toe. Rikki has a BA in Art History and Film Studies, and an MS in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She teaches gallery and studio programs at the Carnegie Museum of Art.
