Artist: Liberty Brass

Join the Band! is a fun and exciting program designed to encourage elementary students to get involved in music. Students will hear music that they recognize and enjoy, including movie soundtracks, cartoon music, patriotic favorites, as well as great selections from the classical, jazz and folk genres. The striking sound and visual presence of a brass quintet grabs students’ attention immediately and opportunities for student volunteers and guided questions engage students throughout the performance. Students will identify different brass instruments, recognize a variety of musical styles and will be involved in the music-making process: keeping the beat and conducting. This is a great program for recruiting students to join the band!
