Through a partnership with Family Support of Allegheny County and with grants from Target and Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Gateway artist Tina Williams Brewer completed a five-week residency with children at the Lincoln Park Family Center.

Are you excited about what a teaching artist could do to activate learning in your classroom or teach you and your students a new art form or skill? Gateway can partially match your funds through our Pennsylvania Council on the Arts’ Artists-in-Residency grant!

Here’s what to do:

  1. Take a look at the artist residency options on our website for inspiration about what can happen in your school or community.
  2. Review  the “ Guidelines and Procedures ” and “ Evaluation Documentation and Assessment Agreement ” to better understand some of the parameters of the program.
  3. Complete and submit the “ Artist Residency Request Form ” below.
