Melissa Davenport
Students have fun making sculpture or jewlery from metal while learning. Metalsmith, Melissa Davenport uses the metal to teach problem solving skills as well as chemisty, physics, history and other connectors to education and learning. The residency includes in-class demostrations and one-on-one hands work with students. Melissa has much experiance working in school and afterschool settings, as well as working with special populations.
