Gateway to the Arts provides Teacher Guides for our K-12 auditorium programs available to schools. Designed for use by classroom teachers and arts specialists alike, the guides include background information on the art form, ideas for pre-performance activities to prepare students for the auditorium program, curricular ties to applicable Pennsylvania Department of Education Academic Standards, post-performance activity and discussion suggestions to help students reflect on the program and apply what they learned into the classroom curriculum, and ideas for further exploration. For many of our programs, PDF versions of the Teacher Guides are available for download. Look for them with the program description.
